Many websites list Gabriel Alexander Brownson, son of John Joseph Brownson and Emma Marie Louise Fuselier of LA/NY, as died in 1875. This is incorrect. Gabriel Alexander was born 27Mar1874, and appeared on the 1880 LA census with his family, listed as "Alexander." He lived to be at least six years old. He is sometimes confused with his brother Gabriel Laclaire Fuselier Brownson (b13May1861) died infant. This line is Richard, Cornelius, Timothy, Amos, Joel, John, John.
My request: I am looking for further information on Gabriel and his brothers Alfred Fuselier Brownson (b 3Oct1870) and James Stelle Brownson (b 13Feb1879). Alfred and James appear on the 1900 LA census in New Orleans still living with their mother, Emma Fuselier Brownson. Does anyone know if they married or when they died? The grandparents of Gabriel, Alfred and James are John Brownson and Caroline Stelle (sometimes spelled Stille).
I have quite a bit of information on this line and am willing to help if you have questions also.
