Simeon Brownson Paper

We treasure family documents. My family is fortunate to have access to the diary and a few paper of Simeon Brownson (1779-1852). I recently published a paper based on these papers. The writing of paper provided an opportunity to put some “meat and bones” on the data in my genealogical files.

Simeon Brownson was the son of Olliver Brownson(Bronson) (1746 - 1815) a musician and composer who was the son of Isaac Brownson Jr. (1707? - 1769) the son of Isaac Brownson and probably Thankful Dibble (many are trying to figure how she figures in the family).
