Hi Paul My ancestor James Welch/Welsh is listed in the 1810 Essex C NY census with Timothy Brownson. He is shown as James "Welsh" with sons James Jr., Levy, Charles (my line), and Wellman. Do you know anything about this family?
At least Charles and Levy migrated to Erie C NY; Charles
lived in Buffalo in 1820; moved to Lucas (then)Fulton (now) county OH in 1835-6-7. Charles married Abigail Chase (f. Nath'l or Nathan, who is also in 1810 Essex). I'd be grateful for any info you may have. Thanks so much...Kathy Welch
