Nana: At the Mormon's web site, www.familysearch.org, I found a lot of information. Corneilous was b. between 1520-1530 in Earl's Colne, Essex, England, d. after 1550, same place. One son (my line) was John, b. 1548, same place. d 2/1623, same place. His son (my line), Roger, was b. 9/1576; same place; d. 10/1635, Aldham, Essex, England. Son, John, b. 9/1602, Chelmsford, Essex, Eng.; d. 11/1680 in Farmington, Hartford, Ct. So, he was the one who came to the States. His son, Isaac, was my 7 G grandfather. At the Mormon web site, go to Corneilous (that's how they spelled)Brownson and follow the family down. Hopefully, your relatives are there. Good luck. If you have any information for me, I'd also appreciate it. Thanks.
