Son John Cook b 1801 NC m Eliza Brownlow b 1808 NC, dau of James Brownlow who arrived in Giles Co TN 1809.
Dau Lucinda Daroline? Cook b 17 Aug 1827 Giles Co TN, d 2 Sept 1907 Sac Twp. Dade Co MO, buried at Vaughn Cemetery. She md David Franklin Vaughn b 26 Oct 1826 Giles Co TN, md 5 OCt 1843 Giles Co, d 11 Aug 1861 Battle of Wilson's Creek, Civ War, Green Co MO. David was son of David Franklin Vaughn b NC, m 15 Nov 1824 Maury Co TN, d ca 1828 Giles Co TN. md Eleanor McKissick b 26 Nov 1804 Williamson Co TN, living in Giles Co TN in 1850. Eleanor was dau of John McKissick and Mary Elizabeth Marshall.
Submitted in 1988 by Mrs. Paul E. Power, 708 Morehead Ave. Bowling Green, KY 4201. She was nee Alice Belle Strock.
