Victor, As you noted Cora was born in Buffalo, MO in 1879. In the early 1890's (Cora would have been 12-13yrs old) the family moved from Missouri back to Columbia,Maury,TN. There Cora's father, John P., and her brothers, Franklin and Erwin, resumed their business as bankers. The Maury county town of Mt. Pleasant had become a "boom" town from the rich phosphate mining and the Brownlows were officers in the Phosphate Bank of Mt. Pleasant. The latest record I have of Cora was the 1910 census, Maury county,TN. At that time Cora and her sister, Katy, were still living at home and were both listed as single. Cora would have then been age 31. There was apparently a bit of fibbing about her age, because she was listed as "25" on the census (a lady's prerogative). Cora's mother, Hester, died Mar 9, 1914, and her father, John P., died Oct. 20, 1917. They are buried (with common headstone)in Rose Hill Cemetery, Columbia, TN. I have not searched for further records of Cora, but her marriage would likely be recorded in Maury Cnty.TN in the 1910-1920 decade.
