my great grandmother (deceased) was Sarah Jane Brownlow Smith )originally from Giles County Tenneesse and then she married my great grandfather Phelps Smith and they moved to Henderson County (Athens) Texas. Sarah Jane' father was John Minton Brownlow who was originally from Pulaski (not sure of spelling) Tenneesee and his parents immigrated from Ireland to the USA. Perhaps we are distantly related.
