Jason, we have talked before. I'm still uncertain of the parents of James Brownlow but I do know that the James and Mary Brownlow who were parents of my ancestress Elizabeth Mary (Polly) who md Stephen Strawn on 11 Apr 1809, Warren Co. KY were James and Mary--found on license. James Brownlow apparently is in 1810 Logan Co. KY census (I have that Mary is surnamed Sanders). 3 males under 10, 1 male 10-16, 1 male 16-26, 2 males 26-45, 2 females under 10, 1 female 10-16, 1 female 16-26. This may include Stephen and Elizabeth Strawn since I didn't find them in KY census. There is no female of age to be wife of James so figure she was missed. So you believe that this James is not son of John and Sarah Council Brownlow? Wouldn't it have been great if the Brownlows had not all used James, John, and William for given names?
