William Browning of Duplin County, North Carolina

In Duplin Co, NC deed bk N, page 526 & 527 dated 24 Feb, 1800, Adam Platt deeds land to son in law William Browning and Adam Platt's daughter Nancy Platt Browning. In Duplin CO, NC deed bk 5, page 327, 328 & 329 dated 30 Dec, 1814 William Browning deeds multiple tracts of land to William Matchett. Fast forward to the 1830 & 1840 Lowndes Co, GA census and several Brownings are neighbors with many Platts. These Brownings are in my opinion grandchildren of Adam Platt and are nephews of Joshua Platt who is also in the Lowndes Co census.
The William Browning in the 1840 Lowndes Co census could be the son in law of Adam Platt. Why he was missed on census between 1810 and 1840 is unknown though.
