Hey Carolyn,
I don't know much about Alonzo Whitfield just that he was related to Henrietta Whitfield Graham. He's not related to me. Henrietta is Dave Graham's first wife. Frances is one of their kids and Frances daughter Zeola that I am in contact with asked could I find any info on Alonzo. She remembers him being a Cousin of hers. Henrietta was suppose to be American Indian and Dave took her off the reservation when she was 14 years old. The info you gave me was that she was born Aug 1881. Then Dave married my fathers mother Alice Browning and had my father David Graham which makes Frances my Aunt and Zeola my cousin.
Now the Rochester's that I inquired about is Frances family on her husbands side. Frances married Eldridge Johnson and Johnnie Beatrice was his sister.
