Ok the info on Joe and Hattie Higgs is correct. The birth and deaths are correct. They moved to Tarboro NC. They were my great grandparents. Bertha was my grandmother.
My mom actually has life size portraits of Henry and his wife. I need to find out her name. He was either irish or white. She was black or indian. It is said that before Henry came to Scotland NC he was a slave. Got freed and ended up in Scotland NC. The names of the kids sound familiar. It's said that Henry had 2 sets of kids. There were suppose to be alot of children. Is it possible for both of these to be the same Henry just different wives and a few more children. Who were Henry's parents.
Yes I would like info on 1930 census for Lizzie, George and the rest.
