I probably don't have the person you're looking for, but one never knows: I have a Martha J. Browning (Randolph Co, AL 1860 census, Lineville, #1136) b. ca 1855. She is in the family of William B. Browning (1832 GA) and Elizabeth Jane (1828 NC). They have these other children listed in 1860: Margaret P, ca 1854; Charley J, ca 1856; Mary S, ca 1850.

William B. and Elizabeth are also in the 1850 census of Randolph Co, AL.--I don't find an Otis--though I do have an Otis Wayne in my own family (1897-1964), Talladega Co, AL area. William died during the Civil War.
