Rhonda,
I have a newspaper clipping for the obituary of Margaret L. Rogers (Margaret Louise Browning Cole Rogers)printed in 1876.Handwritten in pencil on the side of the clipping is written:"Aunt of M.S. Moore".
Mary Sophia Schwartz Moore (M.S. Moore in above clipping) was my great grandmother. She was the daughter of Susan Rebecca Browning and Benjamin Frederick Schwartz.Susan Rebecca Browning, according to an old family Bible in my possession, was born on May 8, 1829, died March 29, 1857(Montgomery Co., and/or Frederick Co., MD.).To date I have not been able to determine who her parents were.
Today I discovered the maiden name for theMargaret L. Rogers in the obituary. She must have been either the sister or aunt of my Susan Rebecca Browning.Do you have any more info on the children of Benjamin Browning and Deborah Warfield?
Thank you in advance for you time and consideration.
Carolyn
