There are several Elijah's
son of #1666 Caleb, b. ca. 1734 in Culpepper Co., VA. Elijah, b. ca. 1768 (nothing further is known about this Elijah) The only one from this family carried on in the book is Taliaferro or Toliver #1710.This family moved to KY ca. 1780.
#1878, Elijah b. 17 Mar. 1797 in Clark Co., KY
#1946, Elijah b. b. 1811, Logan Co., KY
son of #2573 David (my line) Elijah (the book says he d. 21 Aug. 1827, in infancy) He in fact was born 25 Aug 1821, Giles Co., TNand died 26 May 1881)
#1960, Elijah Bruce, b. 26 Mar. 1828, Logan Co. KY#2598, Elijah Henry, b. 1857, MO
#2591, Elijah Thornton, b. 1852, in KY
There is no Gurley in the index.
As you know the book is only good for clues.
