This book covers a branch of the Brownings who go back generations in Maryland who were 'missed' in a 1908 Browning refernce. This line descends from Thomas Browning, born abt 1620 in England, md Hester, came to Virginia 1650's & relocated to Maryland, eventually died in England. His 1st son John was born c. 1640 in England, died c1690 in Maryland. John's 2nd son, Francis was born c.1672 'perhaps in Cecil County, MD and died c. 1723 in Virginia. Hurley says the family lived in Essex County and later moved to Culpeper county, VA.
Hurley's book is $44.00 & source of above info. Hope this helps you.
