Brownells of New York, Fulton & Madison Co.

I have a family of Brownells who lived in Fulton County, NY in the early 1800s & then in 1860 I found them in Madison Co., NY, and in 1870 they were settled in Kalamazoo, MI. I wondered if they might be related to other Brownells in Madison & maybe that's why they moved there from Fulton Co. The parents were Silus N. Brownell (abt. 1801-1874), wife Minerva (Sweet) (abt. 1809-1881), children: David W. (abt. 1828-1879), Silus O. (1831-1867), Julia (1832-1912) married George Montgomery, Daniel N. (1835-1891). I haven't found a link to them yet. My Silus N.'s death record listed his parents as George and Emily Brownell, but I've never found them.
