I'm not sure what years you are looking at for your Thomas Browne. I do have a Thomas Browne, b. btw 1758 - 1764, unknown wife, but they did have a daughter, Mary Anne b. abt. 1785, who married a James Grey/Gray, according to family notes.

Thomas had three brothers, William b. abt. 1754; Richard b. abt. 1756; and John (Capt RN) b. abt. 1760. These boys were the sons of Geroge Browne, a Currier in Kent, unproven mother. Family notes give only that "Thomas accumilated by trade and marriage a competence." I have not been able to prove much about this family. Capt John is proven, except for exact b. or ch. date. William is my line and I've only been able to prove his children, not his dates or parents.
