Hello,
Wife's father, Willaim Charles Patrick Browne was born on
16 June 1900. Some information indicates he was born in Ireland, perhaps Bray, Dublin. A son believes he was born in London. His family did migrate to London at an early age
and he attended a boarding school at Hatch End, Middlesex.
He married Florence May Hutchings in Islington, London in 1926. They had 5 children, Daphne b.1923, Sheila b. 1926, Patrick b. 1930, Michael b. 1937, and Josephine b.1940.
His father was a 'Harry' Browne (probably Harold?), and his Mother was one E. H. Macauley.
Any help would be most appreciative, as I don't have access to Irish records or England records.
