In the "Vermont War of 1812-14 Roster" short military data for a Captain Stephen [town unknown] and a Stephen S. BROWN of Swanton, VT, are listed. Could either of them be related to your family? Please let me know if you would like me to transcribe and post their short military data. I am not related; I do not have any genealogy data on them. I do not know if they are you related to you.
