George Brown, Stewart Cemetery, Cookeville, TN.
My GGGG grandfather George Brown was a Rev. war Soldier, it is written on his original tombstone, there are no dates on this tombstone. He is buried in Stewart Cemetery close to I-40 in Cookeville, Tn.,We think he would have been born between 1860-1875.We have a letter written in 1925 by our GGF stating the above information. This is the same grave that someone put down a stone with dates for the George Brown from Illinois, we are going to see if we can get this stone removed. He had five sons,(The first two, Benjamin and John are buried close to their father), Benjamin Brown 1787-1849, He married Susannah Richards, John Brown 1790-1858, he married Sally Carr, Andrew Brown, Andrew had a child named Wilson, George Brown, we think he died in Illinois abt. 1850, and Daniel Brown. If you have any information on George Brown, The Rev. War Soldier or his sons, we would appreciate any info.
