Filmore was born March 18, 1856-supposedly in Tennessee.It may be that his father was born in Tennesse and he in Kentucky.I can find information beginning with the 1980 Federal Census when they show up in the community of Frozen in Breathitt County,Ky.This is were they lived and raised their family.What I need is information about Filmore Brown before this time period.I find a Filmore Brown in the 1860 and 1870 census in Tennessee,but I have no way of knowing if this is the same Filmore.There is no one in our family who knows what Filmores' parents names are.I can't find a connection to link him to these records,except for the name.He and Mary Gillum were married in 1878 according to the 1900 Federal Census.They had children named Lillie,Walter,Clara,Flora,Grace and Julia.If anyone researching family history can help me find the information I am looking for, I would be very grateful.Thank you!
