I am searching for Walter Mitchell Brown in SC. He was married to Cora Shelnut, possibly in SC. they had four boys and then in late 20's he just disappears. Found military docs from 2nd son stating either just left family when he was small or hopped a train when he was small. He is listed in wife obituary at her being "first married to" doesn't say widow of. She remarried and had 3 more sons with Mr. Batson. Walter's DOB between 1895 and 1902. No further info available. PLEASE, I'M LOST. Have checked all usual records but nothing. THANKS TO ALL :)
