Justin, I have William & Sara in Greene-at the same time as Shilldrake-died about 1803-also from Va-and his son Ezekiel (He also had Reuben and was somehow related to Burwell) So I have collected material on those associated with him- I have no proof on anywhere in Va-just 1850,60, Ezekiel says he was born there. (By then in Harris Co Ga)(You will find my material on here from years back) I have a few things you have not mentioned here- 1798-Jan. 24 287-288 page 5 Hancock Co Ga Wills & Estates Vol AA pp 287 Account of Sales of part of property of Hart Champion dec'd as sold Buyers: Benj. Waller, Shildrake Brown 1798- Mar 26 pp 283 pages 440-441 John Kimbro & Mary his wife of Greene Co. to Shelldrake Brown of same for $300, 100 acres being part of tract the said Kimbro bourht of John Reid on the waters of Richland Creek, beginning at the beaverdam to Shadrick Kimbro's upper field, then to a fence that divides my Cornfield from my son Shadrick's field to Cooper's line, Cessna's lines. Signed John (x) Kimbro) Wit. Edward Brown, Thomas Broadus, Lucy (x)Trayer. Proved by Edward Brown 24 Apr 1800 before E. Park. Clk. Reg. 24 Apr. 1800. 1784- Campbell Co VA Deed Book 1 page 322 is a sale of land (130 acres) between Richard Thurman, Anne Thurman, Susannah Traylor and Shildrake Brown. Shildrake Brown is the buyer in 1784. What is odd, is why Susannah Traylor is one of the sellers. She is listed in the deed as the wife of John Traylor (who owns the land adjacent to the 130 acres) but John Traylor does not sign the deed - only Richard Thurman and his wife Ann (Brown) Thurman and Susannah Traylor sign the deed of sale.
