The descendents of George Monroe Brown and Minnie Elizabeth Eastwood will meet at 1PM on July 18, 2009 in the Fellowship Hall of New Beginnings Church at 105 Main Street in Bogata, TX for a family reunion. Bogata is about 25 miles southeast of Paris, TX.
There will be a covered dish meal - whatever you wish to bring will be appreciated.
George is the son of Mary Jane Fry (she married a Cursey/Kersey, Brown, Jolly and then Carroll) and William M. Brown and the stepson of Wiley Carroll who is the cousin of George's wife, Minnie. Wiley's mother Nancy Ludwell Carroll and Minnie's grandmother, Elizabeth Ludwell Eastwood are sisters.
Minnie is the daughter of Hiram Edward Eastwood and Emily Allifair Caraway. Hiram is the son of Lewis H. Eastwood and Elizabeth Ann Ludwell.
