Addison B. Brown was located in central GA prior to the Civil War. In the 1940's his brother, Rev Courtney Brown, was a Baptist minister in Aiken, SC. Another brother, Jeremiah Brown was located in one of the Carolinas. Elijah Brown was located in Fairfield, TX and was a Baptist minister. Addison Brown's son was Mack Dawson Brown, and his grandson was Rev. M. B. Brown, a Baptist minister and mayor of Richland GA in 1944. His daughter, Bernice Brown McCullar was a member of the faculty at Georgia State College for Women at Middedgville, GA. Hope this information is a help to someone.
