Hi Robert, I don't know this family, just did some looking for you. I found the census listed below, thought perhaps it was them.
I included the Whilby's because he was a Methodist preacher too and his wife was born in IN. I know the census shows Mary F born in Maine, but later census records all have her born in IN.
In 1860, Harriet was with W W Whitby in Atacosa Co., TX he was still a preacher and she was shown as born in OH. On the 1870 census, he is shown as Wiley and they were living in Wilson Co., TX and he was shown as a farmer.
