My great-great grandfather, Thomas M. Brown,formerly of Maine,and was a Methodist circuit rider in Texas prior to 1860, married Lauretta Emery of Clinton(?) Maine, prior to 1860. Daughter Mary Fletcher Brown married my great grandfather Robert Parkinson Wilkinson, of Indianola, Texas, around 1860. At onset of Civil War, family settled in Goliad County, Texas. Anyone have any information on Brown family prior to 1860? Thanks in advance. Bob
