Searching for information on my aunt's grandfather, James Van Brown, born circa 1846-49 in GA. After the Civil War, he and Enoch Hartsfield walked to Arkansas. He married Melissa Horn, daughter of Jacob Horn, on 3-6-1877. I have found one James Van Brown born 1846 in GA to Robert Brown but don't know if this is the same one or not.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I have the Brown family forward from James Van and would be glad to share.
