Thomas Brown was b. ca 1779 PA & came to Brushy Creek, OH, before OH was a state. Sally Smith was b. ca 1780 PA. Their OH marriage certificate states Oct 23, 1800 in Scioto Co, OH. They went West & are found on the 1850 De Kalb, MO census, and 3 months later on the 1850 Madison County, IA census, living next door to my g grandfather's brothers, John & Thomas V Brown & families.
Can anyone identify with these families? And correspond with me? How is Thomas & Sally Brown related to these Brown boys (b. 1807 & 1816 OH, respectively)??
Our GMR Rolls state that the parents of John & Thomas V Brown are Hezekiah Brown & Rachael Brownfield (Brownfield was shortened to Brown by the Brown families). Kay Owen
