I am interested in finding out about the Browns who settled in San Luis Obispo, California. In particular, I want to find out about a Minta Hagerman who married a Dean Brown. Minta was born in 1892 in Wisconsin. Her father was Percy Hagerman and mother, Julia Hagerman. She is a descendant of my gggrandfather, Lyman Kenyon. I have be researching his descendents. Minta came with her family to Boulder Creek, Santa Cruz, California. Some of the Hagerman family may still be in the Santa Cruz County. At some point, it is believed that some of the family moved to Cholame, San Luis Obispo. Minta is believed to have married a Dean BROWN and settled in the area around 1930. Her father, Percy, died in the San Luis Obispo area in 1954, and her mother, Julia, died in 1964. An Archie Hagerman, brother to Minta, also died in San Luis Obispo in 1953. Any information you have on the Browns or Hagermans, is appreciated. I have been told by one of my relatives that he believes some of the BROWN descendants may still live in the area.
