Hi there!
I seen your posting in the Brower forum and was wondering if you had any more information on the John and Susan's son Jeremiah Brower.
I am real close to figuring out the mystery of my 4th grandfather's parents and believe these might be them. I wrote to William Borgous and he told me that it is possible my Jeremiah's father's first name would be John since Jeremiah's middle name is John and Jeremiah's first son's name was also John and since his first daughter was named Susan as well......William said it is entirely possible that Jeremiah's mother's name was Susan.
I am not certain of the date of birth of Jeremiah John Brower since his tombstone has a large crack through the date of birth. I will attach a picture of it for you. I guessed it to be July 06, 1816, but since his wife (only wife) was born on October 23, 1828, it's possible that he was born about 1829 the same year as the Jeremiah born to John Brower and Susan Day.
Jeremiah John Brower was born in NY, and married Sarah Jane Woods in Cass County, IN. (How he ended up in IN, is another mystery to me). I have loads of info. on the Woods line, but the buck stops with Jeremiah John Brower.
Also, the names of the siblings of John Brower, husband of Susan Day......are alot of the same names Jeremiah and Sarah Jane Woods named their children. Any information you might have on this line or think there might be a link would be appreciated!!
