Have you found any information about the Jeffers, Pettits or Mandvilles of Saratoga Co., NY in the course of your search for Browers?
I am the granddaughter of Samuel Harvey Jeffers who was born 6 June 1865 at Ballston Spa, NY. I am looking for his father and for any other information on his various ancestors. Samuel Harvey Jeffers' mother was Caroline Pettit who was born 11 Dec 1843 in Saratoga Co. NY. to John Pettit and Rachel Mandville. Caroline was (or maybe wasn't) married to a Sam Jeffers and subsequently married Henry H. Brower in 1870 in Saratoga Co., NY. Henry was the son of Jeremiah Brower and Keziah, and he was born in 1841 in NY--I don't know place name. Caroline's younger brother John A. Pettit married a Mary Brower, probably in Saratoga Co., NY. I think there may have been other Pettit-Brower connections and possibly some other Jeffers-Brower connections.
My candidates for the children of Jeremiah Brower and Tigar/Keziah are Henry, Joseph, Will, Mary, Ida and your Leroy. All six of these Browers were in or around Pocahontas Co., IA with Jeremiah and Keziah in the 1880's. I have some details about some of them, but I don't have any proof that they were siblings. (My mother said they were all related somehow.)
I was born in Laurens, IA, and I know a Triggs family that has lived there for as long as I can remember. Elsewhere I found that your Lillian Brower was married in Laurens, IA, so I wonder if this Triggs family could be related to your Jacob Jay Triggs.
