Hi David, Here's another clarfication for you. Jeremiah Brower did not die in 1843. He died prior to 25 June 1813 when his will was proved in Essex Co., NJ. In the will he names his wife Caty, and ONLY son Henry. There is also a provision in the event that his wife is pregnant, but doesn't specifically state that she is. The will is not dated but it was witnessed by a Mary Brower and an Abraham Brower (father & mother?, possibly but then it would have had to have been written in 1806 as Abraham Brower died in Aug 1806. It is possible as Henry was born in March 1806). An abstract of the will is in New Jersey Archives v.12 1810-1813, page 49. You can download a copy from the William B. Bogardus Collection page at the Brouwer Genealogy website http://web.me.com/blacknorthfarm/Brouwer_Genealogy/William_B._Bogardus_Collection.html Scroll down to the bottom. So it does appear that Henry was an only child. Chris Notify Administrator about this message?
