Ed, photos would work well, especially if you can send digital photos by e-mail to chrischester101@hotmail.com. You may have to send numerous e-mails though so that they can be downloaded more easily. Send whatever you believe is relevant, the family info of course, but also a photo of the title page (date of publication is key) and that hand drawing you describe sounds interesting as well. What I will do is post the images to the Brouwer Genealogy website http://web.me.com/blacknorthfarm/Brouwer_Genealogy/Welcome.html along with an explanation of your finding and directions to your post here at this forum so that any possible descendants can contact you.
Hopefully this will get you some replies.
