My father, Orene L. Brower, was an agent for the Union Pacific Railroad. I do NOT believe he is connected to these Brower by direct line. However, my third great grandfather Ariah Coats Brower came from western New York through PA, OH, IN, to Nauvoo, IL then on to Grantsville, UT and Oakley, ID. Parts of his sibling family dropped off along that trail west. I know of one sister that ended up in Wisconsin and a brother that ended up in St. Louis, MO.
Where were Thomas, Florence and Emily born? They could be children or grandchildren of Ariah's siblings. Ariah Coats Brower is the son of John Taylor Brower and Fanny Coats. I have been work on finding Fanny's father (Ariah Coats) father. Any one working on the COATS line?
