Everardus Brower Cousin to Peter Brower

In the will of Peter Brower (Abstracts of Wills - 1786 - 1796) there is mention of a cousin Everardus Brower (hatter). I cannot seem to find a cousin anywhere, he had a brother Everardus, but not a cousin. I am interested in this because I have Brower ancestors that were hatters from New York and it is very possible that this line is them. He would have to be a son of one of Jacobus Adams Brouwers brothers (son of Adam Brouwer Berchoven and Magdalena Jacobs Verdon). I have found 8 brothers, but none with a son Everardus. The 8 are Pieter, Mathys(Matthew), Wilhelmus, Jacob (from above), Adam, Abraham, Nicolaes and Daniel. Can anyone help? Thanks.
