I am looking for the parents of Jeremiah John Brower, born abt. August 27, 1815/1816 in New York. His father was born in NY and mother was born in NJ according to Iowa census records.

Jeremiah John Brower married Sarah Jane Woods in Cass County, Indiana on February 04, 1849.

They had 6 children:

1. John Wesley Brower born on May 19, 1850 in IN, married to Melissa
Wheeldon.
2. Susan Brower born on April 07, 1855 in Iowa near Lucas County,
married to Mr. Coleman.
3. Albert W. Brower born on July 20, 1857 in Iowa near Lucas County,
married to Lydia Ann Mills (Quaker religion).
4. Eliza J. Brower born on March 12, 1860 in Iowa near Lucas County.
5. James Allen Brower born on January 20, 1863 in Iowa near Lucas
County, married Sarah Elizabeth Mills (Quaker religion - related
to Lydia Ann Mills who married Albert? Very distant, but yes).
6. Martha C. Brower born on August 3, 1866 in Iowa near Lucas County.

Jeremiah John Brower died on April 02, 1887 and is buried in the Goshen cemetery, Union twp, Lucas co. along with his wife Sarah.

Jeremiah migrated from Indiana around 1853 to Lucas county/Wayne County, Iowa.
