It appears Melvina Brower is a sister to Matilda Brower, dtrs. of David Brower and Jane D. Kirkman. David Brower dies when Melvina was very young. Spouse remarried. Sister Matilda Brower married Nathaniel Norwood, resided in Hamilton County, IN by 1840. Melvina is found residing with her sister and brother in law in 1850. Married by 1855 in Hamilton Co. to James C. Carraway.
