I am seeking a connection between the Va Military Grants used by my Spain ancestors and Thomas Browder of Dinwiddie Co, VA. The land settled by the Spain's in Champaign Co, OH has long been known as the Thomas Browder lands however I have located land transactions with Thomas Browder and Francis Eppes but not any transactions before or after involving a Spain family member. I have 4 transactions, 3 on 24 Jun 1806 and 1 on 26 Sep 1806 where Eppes purchased 1890 acres total in Ohio. My family is documented as moving from Dinwiddie to Ohio in 1805. Does any one have info on grants awarded Thomas Browder and what happened to his lands? Willing to share any/all info. Thank you.
