Elodie was born in abt. 1866. Her father was born in Africa and was known as "Senegal Durall". Francois Broussard was mulatto. His father was Joseph "Maurice" Broussard and was apparently White. He acknowledged his parenthood and provided some property for Francois...at some point. Does any one know about this man? Francois later is in the census in Louisiana and listed with him is Amanil Winter (Elesie?) b. circa 1840 who is described as his mother in the census. Notify Administrator about this message?
