Am a descendant of Augustin Broussard. Have been unable to confirm who his parents are. Have seen conflicting information. He is listed as a son of Alexandre Broussard and Marguerite Thibodeau in some family trees, but not any others. Does anyone have documentation that Augustin was indeed the son of Alexandre? Know that Augustin was married to Anne Agnes Landry in 1770. My line continues through their son:
Benjamin Broussard, married Marie Magdeleine Hebert in 1800
Augustin Broussard, married Anastasie Comeaux
Gerrasin Broussard, married Marguerite Leger
Azemie Broussard(daughter), married Serrazin Baker
If anyone has any information to prove that Augustin was Alexandre's son, I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks.
