Jeanne:
The parents of Leon were Edouard Amand Broussard and Anne Annette Thibodeaux; Edouard's parents were Amand Broussard and Anne Benoit, and Amand was the son of Joseph "dit Beausoleil" Broussard, the son of Francois Broussard and catherine Richard.
My cd contains all that information.
I would recommend www.cafa.org and under the index of Acadian Families scroll down to Broussard; excellent site on the Broussard Family. I would also recomend the "Famille Beausoleil Association".
