Augustine Broussard, b. 1747, d. 3 Sep 1810, was the son of Alexandre (dit Beausoleil) Broussard and Marguerite Thibodeaux.
Marguerite was born 7 Feb 1724 in Port Royal, Acadie, d. 4 Sep 1765 in St. Martinville.
Alexandre (dit Beausoleil, as he and his brother Joseph were known as) was b. 1699 Port Royal, Acadie, buried 18 Sep 1765, Louisiana. Alexandre was the son of Jean Francois Broussard and Catherine Richard.
Jean Francois Broussard was born about 1654 in Anjou, France; came to Acadie aboard the ship L'Oranger in 1671 and married Catherine Richard, daughter of Michel Richard and Madeleine Blanchard in 1678 in Port Royal. Jean Francois died 31 Dec 1716.
