Clothilde Broussard, daughter of Theodore Broussard and Henriette Magdaleine Trahan, born in 1797 St. Martin Parish, Louisiana, married Charles Gaspard, son of Simon Gaspard dit Picard and Marie Jeanne Luquette.
Simon Gaspard dit Picard is the son of Jean Gaspard Michel and Anne Marie Strimphel.
Anne Marie Strimphel is the daughter of Andre Strimphel and Katherine Klein.
Andre Strimphel and Katherine Klein, who married in Germany, had five children: a son born in 1723; Anne Barbe who married Jean Frederic Toups; Agnes Marguerite Strimphel who married Jean Baptiste Etler (also known as Hedley) dit Colmar; Marguerite Strimphel who married Charles Leger; and Anne Marie Strimphel who married 1) Jean (Johann) Gaspard (Kasper) Michel and 2) Jean Louis Panier dit Picard.
A family reunion is being planned for all descendants and relatives of Anne Marie Strimphel married to Jean Gaspard Michel and Jean Louis Panier dit Picard. The initial planning of this reunion will begin May 4th, 2002, at the Kaplan High School Cafeteria in Kaplan, Louisiana at 9:00 AM. We invite you to attend and encourage your input and response.
