Hi Mark,
I have learned that one of the cousins may be into genealogy. My husband is in contact with John Broussard (his father was Arthur or better known as Archie) and said he had to get some family history together for his cousin Bill Bilodeau (Bill's mother is Margaret Broussard Bilodeau she is not on your census because she wasn't born yet) Bill maybe doing something. I will find out.

Children of Sarah DeYoung Broussard were Alice, Isabella, Joseph, Sarah and Walter. So I would think that the info you found in the census of 1900 were the same couple.

Margaret nee Benoit Broussard's children were Andrew, Charles, Mary, John, Francis, Arthur, and Margaret.

This was great information for me because I did not know what my great grandmothers name was. Or when she died or where she was buried.

I'm sure you know your cousin Paul Broussard lives in that same house on Pemberton Street as in the census of 1920. When my grandmother(Sarah) died the house was sold to Paul.

Thanks for your information. Some of this information was new to me. If you need any more info will be glad to find out. Regard, Diane
