Althouth your post is now somewhat 'old', I thought I would give you a shout. I just recently started tracing my family tree. Most of my research leads me back to Charles Brouillard (1668-1692) who came to Quebec abt 1688.
I will provide lots of information when I learn that you have received this message. Perhaps we can help eachother. Most of my ancestors settled in the RI and MA are in the late 19th and early 20th century.
