Down in Texas my family and all the rest of my relatives throughout the southern US pronouce it BROUGHT'N... like in the sentence: I "brought" that with me... only with an N sound attached to it... so you get Brought'n. The "ough" makes the sound like in the word "raw"Although I've heard it pronounced Brooton, Brog-ton, Brow-ton (like cow), and Broa-ton (like flow) but only by those who aren't related to someone with the name.
