Hello,Claudia.
Well to start with, if I ever figure this puzzle out, we may be "distant cousins", I think.
You are looking for information Brocks/Broughs & LeRoys.I found this information in the:
"The Transactions of the Huhuenot Society of SC", vol. 49, Pages. 32-42 & on 49-50 is Phillip LeRoy's will.
Page 38.Elizabeth LeRoy b: Oct. 23, 1797, md. John Louis Brock on Feb. 23, 1819 and were parents of John Louis Brock Jr., b: May 16, 1820, no recorded of marriage (he may have md. Rebecca R. Anderson).2nd. time, Elizabeth LeRoy Brock and Elijah LeGard were married, unknown, no children.(He later md. Jennie David).
Most records that I have seen, the name is Brough not Brock. Can you answer this question.
ABSTRACTS of OLD NINETY-SIX and ABBEVILLE DISTRICT WILLS AND BONDS, complied by Willie
Pauline Young, SC.

Does any of these names sound familier, Anderson, LeGard & Brown?According to our records, John Louis Brough, lived for 18 months after he married Rebecca R. (Rogers?) Anderson. She then married a John Lord Brown abt. 1847.
Do we make a connection?Hope so.Let me hear from you.
Have a good day.Chris
