searching the family of Verla Brough; b. Feb. 05 Feb. 1890 mar. Oliver O. Collett b. l887. mar. Feb. 0l, l908 in Ottumwa, Iowa - Wapello County, Ia.
Verla's parents; Albert Brough and Melissa Crawford. Verla and Oliver had a dau. by the name of Viola Collett b. Nov. 20, 1908 mar. sept. 26, l936 d. March l8, l988 according to the obit. I have from the Ottumwa Daily Courier. States she (Viola Collett) mar. a Albert "Bert" Smith. I also find that she may have mar. a gentleman by the name of Karsner. According to both obituaries of Verla Brough Collett and Viola Collett Smith, it shows Viola Collett mar. Albert Smith. Can anyone enlighten me on this? Oliver Collett, sr. was the son of John Henry Collett and Sarah Adaline "Sadie" Evans. Sarah Evans was my great aunt, the dau. of Wm. H. Evans and Elizabeth Jane Ruggles Evans who were my great grandparents.
