Dear Briana:
Thank you very much for your response. This could be of the same family line, but I found my McClennon family in Marshall County in 1850.My great grandmother, Minerva McClennon was in the household with her mother Mary and stepfather, John Bearden.Nancy McClennon was listed as her sister, other Bearden siblins were listed. Minerva married William Roden in Marshall County AL on October 14, 1851. I thought this might have been the same Nancy McClennon being so close to her age and location to Marshall Co., AL where I found them.I have found other McClennon's there in Marshall County, but I have been unable to tie them to my McClennon Family.
I was lucky to find the marriage record on William Roden and Minerva McClennon. The woman who found the information, found it in a box along with a note from John F. Roden (William's father) giving the clerk permission for his son to marry.
My William Roden was listed in the household of J. F. Roden and Rachel, in 1850 Marshall County AL also.
Thanks, again....Martha Real
